House of Doula’s Mission
| We are a group of certified doulas, educators & wellness providers serving families along the front-range, spanning from Boulder to Castle Rock. We offer the Colorado family and health-care community access to the highest quality service providers for pregnancy, birth, newborns & early parenting. We offer networking, mentoring, professional development and support to our membership base, comprised of female entrepreneurs.
| | As Birth Doulas, | Our role is not to replace partners or family during the birth. Instead, we become an additional member of your birth support team, assisting you in achieving your individual family's birthing goals.
Women have a right to evidence-based information and informed consent during the labor and birth process. Women and families have worked very hard to gain access to a full range of birthing options and choices. We offer evidence-based information to assist your family in making informed decisions. We agree to honor your choices and support your family in the decisions that you make for your birth experience. | | As Postpartum Doulas, | Our role is to provide family care not infant care. We do not take over primary care of your newborn but rather support and care for parents as they heal and, grow, becoming confident parents and capable care-providers themselves.
There is not one predetermined parenting model that will work for every family. Instead, we provide tools and strategies for parents based on the individual family's values, beliefs, and needs.
